I moved to San Francisco in the summer of 2008 to join Sprout as an online marketing manager. Quickly adapted to the fast-paced technology and software development environment. My role with the company was very dynamic and required an ability to apply strategic business savvy to products that were constantly evolving. Sprout took an interesting path from a Flash-based creative marketing tool to a mobile-friendly HTML5 rich media ad creator. At that point (in 2011), we had partnerships with and gained the attention of the largest players in the mobile advertising space and were acquired by Inmobi. After a year with Inmobi, I left to take a product marketing manager role at SET Media. We developed technology that uses computer vision to determine what is actually within the video content advertisers are sponsoring. SET Media was acquired by Conversant (formerly ValueClick) after 13 months with the company in 2014.
My roles within these four companies included the following:
Online Marketing Manager
Product Marketing Manager
I've taken all of the business experience gained through these two acquisitions and started my own company in the equipment rental space.
